Cholagogue

A remedy that stimulates flow of bile into the intestines. Will improve cleansing of the liver. Useful in an eliminative regime, in liver disease and dysfunction [Sanchez BOTM680].

Stimulates the gall bladder to emulsify fats. Increases production of bile [anonymous].

Promotes flow of bile [Palmer2004].
